Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced registered nurse for an Adult Psychiatric unit in Asheville, NC. The position requires an active NC or compact RN license, BLS, and CPI certification, with at least one year of psychiatric nursing experience.

Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local applicants are not considered. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), housing allowance, travel and licensure reimbursements, and weekly payroll.

Qualifications

• Active NC or compact RN license required.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC with no expiration within first 30 days.
• CPI certification required for Behavioral Health units.
• Minimum 1 year of recent psychiatric nursing experience.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Adult Psychiatric unit setting (5 South).
• Day/evening shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted.
