Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse for travel assignments across healthcare facilities. The RN will assess, diagnose, and treat mental health and substance use disorders, promoting wellbeing through education and prevention.

Strong clinical judgment and coordination of patient care are essential in diverse settings. The role requires active RN licensure, CPR when applicable, and compliance with health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric/behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Coordinate patient care across settings and teams.
• Educate patients and families to promote mental health and recovery.
