Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse for a travel assignment. The PMH RN will provide comprehensive nursing care across varied settings, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders, with a focus on psychosocial and neurobiological expertise.

The role emphasizes prevention, education, clinical judgment, and coordination of patient care for individuals, families, and communities when applicable.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure (in-state)
• CPR certification if applicable
• TB screening questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current health certificate per contract/state regulation
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• 1 year psych/corrections experience
