Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Behavioral Health night shift position requiring 1+ years of adult psychiatric RN experience and an active AR or compact RN license.

Responsibilities include working in the adult psychiatric unit, night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, and a 13-week assignment. Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and have Cerner EMR experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (AR or compact) required.
• 1+ year of adult psychiatric/behavioral health RN experience required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Cerner EMR experience required.
• SAMA certification preferred, but on-site if needed.
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of assignment start.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within past 12 months.
• Valid driver's license required for consideration.
• US Social Security Number required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Adult Psychiatric unit within a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Every other weekend shift required.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Uses Cerner EMR system.
• Provide direct nursing care to adult psychiatric patients in a behavioral health setting.
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week during the assignment.
• Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility in past 2 years will not be considered.
