Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PreOp / PACU for a 13-week assignment in Canton, GA. This Post-Anesthesia Care role requires 36 hours weekly, with 12-hour day shifts, and offers competitive pay, benefits, and dedicated clinical support.

Responsibilities include pre and post-operative assessments, patient education, medication administration, and collaboration with the surgical team to ensure safe recovery.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Pre/Post-Op RN experience.
• Active RN license in GA.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients pre-operatively and identify risks.
• Prepare patients for surgery and educate on procedures.
• Assess post-anesthesia condition and transfer from OR.
• Monitor post-operative patients for complications and manage pain.
• Document assessments and interventions in medical records.
• Collaborate with surgical team for comprehensive care.
