Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for PreOp/PACU in Duluth, Minnesota. The role covers a 11-week assignment, starting 10/19/2026, with 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts and travel employment.

The RN will assess patients before and after surgery, provide care plans, administer treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care while enjoying competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Pre/Post-Op RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification.
• ACLS/PALS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients pre-operatively and review medical history.
• Educate patients about procedures and post-operative care.
• Monitor post-operative condition and manage pain and recovery.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per standards.
• Document assessments and recovery progress in medical records.
• Collaborate with surgical teams for comprehensive care.
• Ensure continuity of care during handoffs between units.
