Job summary

Vibra Travels is seeking a travel nurse RN for PICU in Newark, New Jersey. The assignment lasts 13 weeks with 36 hours per week and 12-hour day shifts. It’s a travel employment model with Vibra providing dedicated recruiter support and nationwide opportunities.

Qualified candidates have RN licensure in the state, at least 1 year of RN experience, and BLS certification. ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required by Vibra. Competitive compensation includes a tax-free stipend where applicable.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
• 1 full year of RN experience; Diploma or AS/ADN in Nursing required.
• Additional certifications may be required by Vibra Travels (ACLS, PALS, NRP).
• Current, valid and active RN license in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care in PICU/ICU settings.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to monitor patient conditions and respond to changes.
• Maintain patient safety, accuracy in med administration and charting.
