Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring IN or Compact RN license, with BLS and PALS certifications and a minimum of 2 years’ PICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a 23-bed Pediatric Cardiac ICU
• Patient population includes complex heart patients, VAD patients, and heart transplant cases
• Staffing ratios are 1:1-2 for patient care
• Floating is required to the cardiac stepdown unit and PICU
• Works 3x12-hour night shifts with every other weekend required
• Cerner EMR charting is used and experience is required
• Will accept experienced PICU RNs and provide training for CVPICU
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays during the contract
• All travelers may be required to float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital
• Auto-approval for up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) per contract
• Candidates must abide by scrub or dress code specified by hospital
• Charge pay is available for those fulfilling charge RN responsibilities

Requirements
