Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced RN for Pediatric Emergency Department travel assignment in Denver, CO. 13 weeks, day shift, 12-hour shifts with a 4:1 patient ratio (5:1 during surge). Unit has 23 beds and a 45-person staff; Meditech EMR used; GE monitors for patient care.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year Pediatric ER RN experience, RN license, and certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC/ENPC). PALS can substitute ENPC. CEN/CPEN and IV competency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Pediatric ER RN with 1 year ED experience.
• RN license required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC & ENPC; PALS accepted in lieu of ENPC.
• Preferred: CEN, CPEN, IV competency.

Responsibilities

• Perform port access, IV starts, venipuncture, nasal washes, point-of-care testing, EKGs, Foley placements.
• Operate GE monitors and the Meditech EMR.
• Maintain patient safety and high satisfaction scores.
