Job summary

Ascension Premier Staffing is seeking a registered nurse for the Pediatric CVICU at Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, TX. The role supports night shifts with a 36-hour weekly schedule and offers a gross rate up to $3,014 per week.

Minimum requirements include an RN license (compact), BLS and PALS within specified timelines, and a nursing diploma. Prior pediatric CVICU experience is preferred and one year in acute care is required.

Qualifications

• RN must be licensed and compact where applicable.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
• BLS and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care following established policies and protocols.
• Implement, monitor, and record patient care plans and conditions.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and manage patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.
