American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Kentucky. The role requires 2 years of acute PCU experience, Epic proficiency, and a KY or compact RN license. Night shifts are 6:45 PM–7:15 AM with a rotating weekend schedule and a 36-hour workweek.

You will operate in a hospital setting using the Epic EMR, provide patient- and family-centered care, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support quality outcomes and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (KY or Compact) required
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient PCU RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required
• No local rate drop for candidates residing in the area

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, patient and family-centered care with a focus on quality outcomes
• Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care using the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care
• Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff, functioning as mentor/preceptor
• Facilitate patient and family education specific to care needs, treatment, and discharge planning
• Participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives and comply with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient and organizational needs
