The position requires one year of Stepdown RN experience, active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification. PCCN/NIHSS certifications are preferred. The job emphasizes telemetry patient care and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors telemetry data and interprets cardiac rhythms to detect abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort for telemetry patients.
• Documents patient status and notifies clinicians of changes in cardiac status.
• Initiates patient education focused on cardiac health and risk factors.
