**Details**

+ $2,358 Weekly Rate

+ Department: Associate Travel Program - PCU / Step Down RN

+ Schedule: Multiple shifts available, 36 hours per week

+ Hospital: Multiple Ascension acute care hospitals

+ Location: Local and national travel options are available depending on need

This position is a permanent, full-time role consisting of 8-13 week travel assignments. It is not a short-term or temporary contract, with the possibility to extend as needed. Benefited positions are available; rate adjustments will apply.

**Responsibilities**

  • Provide direct nursing care according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions appropriately.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary care for patients.
  • Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
  • Assess and coordinate discharge planning with healthcare team members.

**Requirements**

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire or transfer (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
  • Registered Nurse license required prior to start; must have a valid compact or state RN license relevant to the assignment location.
  • Education:
  • Diploma from an accredited nursing program required.
  • Work Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year RN experience in an acute care setting required.

**Additional Preferences**

  • Recent (within 1 year) experience in PCU or Step Down preferred.
  • ACLS certification required.
  • Travel options available locally and nationally; stipends available for sites over 50 miles from residence. Contact Recruitment for details.
