Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN to work in the PCU at a Plano, Texas facility on a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week. The schedule is 7 PM to 7 AM with weekends every other, providing care to patients recovering from serious illnesses or surgery.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, 2+ years of hospital and Stepdown/PCU experience, BLS and ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and familiarity with Meditech.

Qualifications

• Active RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
• 2+ years of hospital experience
• 2+ years of Stepdown/PCU specialty experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals
• Manage patient care plans and collaborate with healthcare teams
• Assist with patient mobility and rehabilitation
• Document patient progress and update medical records
• Respond to patients' needs and provide support to families
