Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Progressive Care Unit RN for a travel nursing assignment in Mesa, Arizona. This PCU RN will provide care for patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment in a fast-paced setting.

The role is 12 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts. Candidates should have 1–2 years acute care experience and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Travel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN with 1–2 years of acute care experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication and report adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring data indicates issues.
