Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit in Indianapolis, IN. This travel assignment requires a valid nursing license, ACLS/BLS, and experience in PCU with ICU-level acuity. Expect to float to different units and cover post-operative patients, chest tubes, drains, and arterial/central lines.

Night shifts, 12-hour blocks, 4 days a week, for 13 weeks. Local travelers are not accepted; travelers must commit to the contract and may precept or supervise students.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Pharmacology knowledge required.
• Must complete Skills Checklist and Specialty Exam.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for post-operative PCU patients with ICU-level acuity.
• Float to Med-Surg and ICU as needed per contract.
• Manage chest tubes, surgical drains and IV insulin protocols.
• Assist with enteral feedings and total laryngectomy care; monitor arterial/central lines.
