Qualifications

• 2 years of Medical-Surgical (MS), PCU, or ICU experience; must have worked within the last year.
• BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS certifications; licensed to submit; located within 80 miles of the facility.
• Experience with neuro, trauma, and general medical patients with complex needs.
• Ability to float to sister units as needed and work 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized patient care for neuro, trauma, and general medical patients with complex needs.
• Manage conditions such as strokes, seizures, spinal injuries, trauma, and hematomas.
• Read telemetry strips and operate vents and related equipment; participate in self-scheduling and night coverage.
