Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Tacoma, Washington. The role centers on PCU/CCU care with float to ED Holding, Neuro, Trauma and medical-surgical patients. Epic EMR proficiency and recent PCU experience are required.

The assignment runs for 13 weeks, 48 hours per week, on 12-hour day shifts, with travel benefits and ongoing support from TotalMed RN. Expect collaboration with ED and inpatient teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have recent PCU experience (last 6 months).
• ACLS and BLS certs required; NIH is preferred.
• 2 years RN experience; travel/float pool experience welcomed.
• ED Holding/Float Pool PCU exposure expected.

Responsibilities

• Float to PCU/ED Holding and other units as needed.
• Care for Neuro, Trauma, Medical, Surgical patients.
• Support cardiac care including rhythms and devices.
• Adhere to Epic documentation and hospital protocols.
