Job summary

Healthforce is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Pocatello, Idaho. The RN will work in a 24-bed PCU/IMC with telemetry, and support adult and geriatric patients including PCI/open-heart and stroke care.

The shift is 3x12-hour Nights, start 08/17/2026, with weekly pay and Epic charting required. This assignment emphasizes collaboration with the interdisciplinary team in a Level II Trauma Center setting and Chest Pain Accreditation.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Idaho or a valid compact license must be in hand at time of submittal.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (current).
• Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience; travel nurses welcomed.
• Education: RN licensure required (no specific degree stated beyond licensure).
• Special competencies: Telemetry/stepdown cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, care of cardiac and vasoactive infusions, central/peripheral line care, non-invasive airway support, and rapid response participation.
• Charting: Epic experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to adults and geriatrics in a PCU/IMC setting with telemetry monitoring.
• Manage cardiac and vasoactive infusions as ordered and monitor patient response.
• Provide central and peripheral line care and administer blood products as appropriate.
• Conduct non-invasive airway management including BIPAP/CPAP, IPPB, and HHF therapies.
• Participate in rapid response and code events; assist with emergent cardioversion when indicated.
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in Epic and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
