Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Yuma, Arizona. The position is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, on a 12-hour night shift, travel employment.

The right RN should have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and will care for patients requiring close monitoring but not ICU-level care. Responsibilities include med administration, monitoring, and patient safety.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIH certification or equivalent may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor cardiac patients and interpret electronic displays.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications.
• Monitor and adjust equipment used on patients.
• Communicate patient status and initiate corrective actions when needed.
