Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Council Bluffs, IA. You will provide specialized nursing care for patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units, with a 12-hour night shift and 48 hours per week.

The role requires one year of Stepdown RN experience, Iowa licensure, and current BLS and ACLS certifications, offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits through Fusion.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in the State of Iowa or applicable regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data.
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Assist physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Educate patients and families about cardiac health and post-discharge care.
• Document assessments and communicate changes to the care team.
