Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks an experienced RN to join a 13-week Travel RN assignment in Tucson, AZ. The role covers PCU and float support to Med/Surg, caring for a diverse patient population with varying acuity. You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence-based care.

Requirements include current RN license, PCU/Med-Surg experience, and BLS/ACLS. The position requires 36 hours per week with start ASAP and is hospital-based in a dynamic care

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona or eligibility.
• Experience in PCU, Progressive Care, or Med/Surg.
• Ability to float between PCU and Med/Surg.
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced hospital.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care in PCU and Med/Surg settings.
• Assess patients, monitor conditions, and implement interventions.
• Care for patients with varying acuity and diagnoses.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely.
• Monitor vitals, rhythms, labs, and clinical indicators.
• Communicate changes to physicians and care team promptly.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers.
• Educate patients and families on medications and discharge plans.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Follow hospital policies, infection control, and safety guidelines.
• Float between PCU and Med/Surg as needed.
• Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism across units.
