Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Tucson, AZ. The role supports higher-acuity patients in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Ideal candidates will be true travelers with outside-Arizona residency, able to work Day or Night shifts, and comfortable adapting to new unit policies and workflows.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Adaptability to new hospital environments, policies, and workflows.
• Must be a true travel nurse with a permanent residence outside Arizona.
• Must be available for the full 13-week assignment.
• Day and night shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to PCU patients.
• Monitor patients with complex and changing medical conditions.
• Assess patient status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, ancillary services, and the care team.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and patient-safety requirements.
