American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU/IMCU travel position in Marquette, MI. Active Michigan licensure and 2+ years PCU experience are required. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications must be current. The role includes night shifts, 36 guaranteed hours, no scheduled call, and on-call may occur with census changes.

The unit features a Level 2 ICU, 225 beds, and a broad specialty services portfolio. Housing allowances and travel/licensure reimbursements are offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Michigan (MI) required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required.

Responsibilities

• PCU/IMCU duties within a 225-bed specialty care hospital with Level 2 ICU
• Patient-to-nurse ratio 1:3 for IMCU
• Care for post-open heart, heart failure, respiratory failure, trauma, stroke with lytics, post-craniotomy, sepsis
• Utilizes Baxter IV pumps, Omnicell, Prisma Flex CRRT, Impella, IABP, EVDs, ventilators, BiPAP, high flow oxygen
• Night shift 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, every other weekend, 36 hours weekly
• Floating on a rotation with other travel nurses, bi-weekly orientation
• Cerner EMR used; travel resume includes housing allowance and reimbursements
