Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Marshfield, Wisconsin. This 13-week assignment runs 48 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, with travel benefits and tax-free stipends where applicable.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience, BLS and ACLS, and will monitor cardiac patients, administer meds, start IVs, change dressings, and document vital signs with electronic monitoring equipment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Willingness to travel and stay for a 13-week assignment

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications; report adverse reactions
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and use monitoring equipment
• Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate actions
