Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel RN for PACU in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The RN will care for patients recovering from anesthesia, monitor vitals, manage pain, and help ensure safe transfer or discharge after surgery.

This 13-week travel assignment offers 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, competitive pay, housing options, health insurance, and 401(k). Current RN license, BLS and ACLS are required, with PACU/ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license and nursing degree.
• BSN preferred by many employers.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification typically required.
• PACU/ICU/critically-ill or perioperative nursing experience may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Monitor patient conditions during the post-anesthesia period.
• Manage pain, nausea and identify potential complications.
• Ensure patient stability prior to transfer or discharge.
