TotalMed RN seeks a travel PACU RN for Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role involves post-anesthesia observation and care for patients recovering from surgery, with emphasis on monitoring and reporting changes to the physician.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment while moving patients as needed. Travel nurses receive a tax-free stipend and weekly hours support.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required.
• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor post-anesthesia patients as they recover from surgery.
• Develop and adjust care plans for PACU patients.
• Assess patient status and report to physicians as needed.
• Ensure patients are ready to transfer to a room when recovered.
