Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for PACU - Post Anesthesia Care in Salem, Virginia. This hospital contract runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, on a 12-hour shift, and starts ASAP. Candidate must have ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications and be willing to travel as a traveler. You’ll provide post-anesthesia care, monitor vitals, administer medications, document in Expanse, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe patient recovery.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required.
• RN licensed to practice in Virginia or eligible to obtain.
• Experience in PACU or perioperative setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery in the PACU.
• Monitor patient vitals and recovery status using standard monitors.
• Administer medications and critical drips per protocol.
• Document patient status and care in Expanse system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe recovery.
