VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a Wichita, Kansas assignment. The role is travel, with 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, and a 13-week contract at Wesley Medical Center.

Start ASAP, with BLS, ACLS, and 1 year of acute care PACU experience required. You'll provide post-anesthesia recovery care, monitor vitals, collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams, administer medications, and document care in the EMR.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• At least 1 year of current acute care PACU RN experience.
• Active nursing license in good standing and ability to obtain Kansas credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care for patients following surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and overall condition throughout recovery.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesiology teams to ensure patient safety.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the EMR system.
