Job summary

IdealHire Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Travel RN – Orthopedic Surgery in Asheville, NC for a 13-week travel assignment in a high-acuity acute care hospital.

You will provide direct patient care on an orthopedic surgery unit and collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams. Candidates must hold an active RN license in NC or a compact state, BLS, and at least 2 years of orthopedic or surgical RN experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years recent experience in orthopedic or surgical nursing.
• Able to commit to a 13-week travel contract starting October 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an orthopedic surgery unit in a high-acuity acute care hospital.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for orthopedic patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient outcomes.
• Monitor post-operative patients and respond to condition changes.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes per facility standards.
