Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for the Operating Room with Cardiovascular CVOR experience in Augusta, GA. The role features a 36-hour workweek, days on a 3x12 schedule, and a 16-week assignment. 1 opening with 3x12 shifts and 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with on-site work.

Requires GA or Compact RN license, BLS and ACLS, and endovascular experience within a vascular service line. EVAR preferred; CSI/Penumbra helpful. First-time travelers accepted.

Responsibilities

• Overnight call after shift approximately 2x per week
• Regular day call approximately 1x per month (13-15 days per month)
• Approximately 2 weekend call shifts per assignment
• Rare floating to Main OR may be required
• Uses Epic (preferred) and Pyxis systems

Description

American Traveler is hiring a CVOR RN with endovascular and vascular service line experience for a 1:1 patient ratio operating room role.

Additional Information

• OR scrubs provided by the facility
• Maximum 7 days of RTO permitted
• No RTO permitted during the first week of assignment
• Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment period, including Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• No holiday RTO can be requested if one or two major holidays occur during the assignment
• One holiday RTO request may be reviewed if three major holidays occur during the assignment
• Travel pairs cannot be assigned to the same shift on the same unit
• Returning travelers must be away from all facilities within the health system for one full year before returning
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Shift and schedule as listed are firm with no alternate requests allowed
