Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13‑week assignment in Ohio. Active OH or Compact RN license and BLS are required; ACLS may be needed depending on unit. NIHSS may be requested.

You will operate in a hospital OR, with a rotating call schedule and potential cross-site assignments. Local residents within 60 miles of the facility are favored for local rates. The role includes travel incentives, housing allowance, and licensure reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required for direct patient care.
• ACLS certification may be required depending on unit assignment.
• NIHSS certification may be requested.

Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative nursing care within the operating room setting.
• Dayshift schedule of three 12‑hour shifts, 07:00‑19:30.
• Weekday, weekend, and holiday call required, split evenly among staff.
• Floating to another unit or care site within the health system as needed.
• Candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility to qualify for local rates.
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration.

• ACLS certification may be required depending on unit assignment

• Operating Room unit within a hospital setting
• Dayshift schedule of three 12-hour shifts, 07:00-19:30
• Weekday, weekend, and holiday call required, split evenly among staff and varying per a 6-week schedule
• Floating to another unit or care site within the health system may be required to maintain contracted hours
• Deliver perioperative nursing care within the operating room setting
• Candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility to qualify for local rates, with certain exceptions in select states
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration
