Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery in Douglasville, GA on a 13-week travel assignment starting 11/09/2026. You will work 12-hour nights (36 hours per week) in an inpatient obstetric care setting, with guaranteed hours not guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in GA or eligible for licensure.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
• Willingness to complete credentialing and onboarding.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced obstetric care environment and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to obstetric patients across labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status; respond to changes in clinical condition and implement appropriate interventions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments within scope of practice; manage IVs and multimodal analgesia as required.
• Assist during labor and delivery, including cesarean sections, and support immediate postpartum care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to coordinate care, document activities, and educate patients and families.
• Uphold patient safety, privacy, comfort, and quality standards while aligning with established policies and procedures.
