Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN specializing in Labor & Delivery for Newport, Tennessee. This night-shift position runs 36 hours per week on 12-hour blocks, with a 13-week contract and a start date of 01/05/2026.

The role requires TN or compact RN licensure and at least one year of L&D experience, along with active credentials and ability to work nights and holidays. Housing stipends and robust benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in TN or a compact state.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience.
• Certifications must be current and not expiring within the first 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Obstetrics/Gynecology department of a hospital setting.
• Labor & Delivery unit serving OB/GYN patient populations.
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• 13‑week contract assignment.
• Candidates must reside outside a 50‑mile radius from the facility.
• RTO (requested time off) must be less than 1 week.
• Holiday coverage may be required during the contract.
