American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery (LDRP) night shift in Oregon. ACLS, NRP, BLS, and 1 year of recent L&D or postpartum experience required; active RN license and OR RN license required.

This perinatal float pool covers L&D and Mother Baby, 3x12s 19:00–07:30, with potential to float to affiliate hospitals. 13-week minimum contract, benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), weekly pay, and CEUs.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required in OR
• ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications required (AHA-format)
• NRP certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery or postpartum RN experience (2+ years per compliance)
• Epic charting experience required
• Two manager references from the last 24 months (not charge RN)
• Work history verification for last seven years including dates and PTO
• Relias exam score 85%+
• Lifetime background check with no hits
• COVID vaccination proof required without exemptions

Responsibilities

• Perinatal Float Pool covering Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby Units
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-07:30
• L&D Unit with 12 labor rooms, 4-bed triage, 3 ORs, 2-bay PACU
• Mother Baby Unit with 27 beds
• High-risk L&D and antepartum care for high-risk populations
• Triage sees patients from 20 weeks gestation to 6 weeks postpartum
• Provide intrapartum, antepartum, and newborn care
• Floats between L&D and Mother Baby; may float every ~4 hours
• Potential to float to affiliate hospitals
• Refusal to float may lead to contract cancellation
• RTO up-front, max 2 weeks
• Local candidates at same pay rate, no radius restriction
• Former OHSU travelers must be gone 6 months, need prior manager reference
• First-time travelers may be considered
• 13-week minimum contract, longer terms available
