Job summary
American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced registered nurse for an Emergency Department role in Kentucky. The position requires a KY or compact RN license and prior EPIC EMR experience.
The ED nurse will work night shifts (18:45–07:15), 12-hour shifts, three days per week (36 hours total). Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, with supervision of licensed and non-licensed staff.
Qualifications
- Active KY or compact RN license is required.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- Minimum two years of acute care RN experience.
- Minimum two years of EPIC EMR experience.
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required.
Responsibilities
- Night shift Emergency Department (ED/ER) position in a hospital setting.
- Shift hours 18:45-07:15, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week.
- Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation for a group of ED patients.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and provides patient/family education.
- Supervises and mentors licensed and non-licensed staff members.
- Participates in a Practice Governance framework and quality improvement initiatives.
