Job summary

UCHealth Broomfield Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on the night shift. The role involves caring for acutely ill and injured patients, while adhering to critical care protocols and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The position offers a 72-hour per pay period schedule with 13-week assignments and a travel package/stipend. A Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges and at least one year of experience are required to start.

Qualifications

• CO RN license or eNLC privileges
• 1-year experience in Emergency Nursing
• ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC or ATCN
• BLS - CPR for the Professional Rescuer per AHA/Red Cross requirements before start date

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care in the Emergency Department up to Level 1 trauma designation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care.
• Model proficiency through precepting new staff and students where applicable.
