Job summary

UCHealth Anschutz Pavilion in Aurora is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the 55-bed Level III Neonatal ICU for a full-time role with day/night rotation and a 72-hour per pay period schedule. Compensation includes $50.00 per hour plus a travel package/stipend, with 13-week assignments available and extension options.

The position offers direct patient care in a neonate-focused unit, emphasizes multidisciplinary collaboration, evidence-based practice, and precepting of new staff in a dynamic

Qualifications

  • CO RN license or eNLC privileges.
  • Minimum 1 year RN experience.
  • NRP certification.
  • BLS certification with card in-hand before start date.

Responsibilities

  • Provides top of scope direct patient care in the neonatal ICU using the nursing process.
  • Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Prioritizes wellness and patient-centered care with evidence-based practice.
  • Mentors new staff and supports precepting in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Contributes to safety and quality at the point of care.

Minimum Requirements
  • CO RN license or eNLC privileges
  • 1-year experience
  • NRP
  • BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
