Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Travel Telemetry - Stepdown position in Seattle, WA. The role requires at least 2 years of RN experience with telemetry proficiency at a Magnet Hospital. You will care for Neuro patients in a high-acuity setting and collaborate with a traveling team.

The assignment is 18 weeks, dayshift, 3x12hr shifts, with 7:00-19:30 hours, and no on-call responsibilities. Active WA license and NIHSS/BLS are required, with competency exams to pass.

Qualifications

• Active WA or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• Telemetry/dysrhythmia interpretation and management competency exam.
• Prior travel experience preferred; first-time travelers considered only with strong neuro experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to neurosurgical, neurological, and epilepsy patients.
• Perform cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Respond to emergencies and administer neuro-focused care.
• Use Epic charting system for documentation.
