Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for a 14-week, third shift assignment in the IMCU/Stepdown 5RP Neuro unit. This temporary traveler role offers a pay rate of $75.00 per hour.

Requires Virginia or Compact Multi-State license, BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and at least two years of acute care RN experience in neuroscience settings. No benefits accompany this travel position.

Qualifications

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State RN license in good standing.
• Two+ years of acute care hospital RN experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Stroke scale proficiency beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to neuroscience patients in a stepdown/IMCU unit.
• Monitor neurological status, intervene and document.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on patient care plans.
