Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel assignment in Phoenix, Arizona. The role requires delivering intermediate-level care in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting with close patient monitoring.

You will work a day shift (3x12-hour shifts) with potential weekend/holiday rotation, 13-week contract with possible extension, and a competitive travel pay package including housing stipend and meal allowances.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with compact option preferred or AZ licensure possible.
• 1–2 years of recent PCU/telemetry experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for PCU patients with continuous cardiac monitoring.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per orders.
• Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge care.
• Document accurately in the EMR and maintain infection control.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance throughout the assignment.
