Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Neurological/Neurosurgical Med/Surg unit in Baltimore, MD. This role requires 2+ years of Med/Surg/Tele acute care experience with neurology patients, an active MD or Compact RN license, and current BLS certification.

EPIC EMR experience is preferred, and prior travel nursing is a plus. You will work on a 14-bed unit, including a Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center, with a schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Qualifications

Active RN license (MD or Compact) required.
Current BLS certification required.
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg/Tele acute care experience with neurology patients.
EPIC EMR experience preferred.
Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
Experience in 500+ bed facility preferred.

Responsibilities

Care for adult patients on a 14-bed neuro/neurosurgical unit, including stroke center.
Manage conditions such as spinal surgery, intracranial hemorrhage, seizures, and neurodegenerative diseases.
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Every other weekend and on-call shifts as required.
Provide nursing care for stroke, neurological, and neurosurgical patients.
Orientation held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month.
