Job summary

Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel nurse RN Med Surg/Telemetry for a Madison, Wisconsin assignment on a 41-bed inpatient unit focusing on hematology, oncology, stem cell transplants, and palliative care. The RN will administer chemotherapy, manage central lines, perform biopsies, and participate in cutting-edge therapies in a Magnet-designated facility.

Start date 10/12/2026 for 13 weeks, 36 hours weekly, 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• BLS certified and RN licensed; Epic experience.
• 3+ years in Heme/Onc/BMT, trauma or similar size hospital.
• Chemotherapy certification from ONS or ONCC.
• Telemetry interpretation exam with 80%+ required.

Responsibilities

• Care for acutely ill adult and geriatric patients on MS/ONC unit.
• Administer chemotherapy and manage central lines/ports.
• Perform biopsies and support stem cell transplant procedures.
• Participate in cutting-edge therapies and Magnet-designated research.
