Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for Med Surg / Telemetry in Winston-Salem, NC. Assignment: 13 weeks, 36 hours weekly, with 12-hour night shifts (18:45–07:15).

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of surgical nursing experience, active RN license (NC or Compact may be pending), and BLS; ACLS preferred. Epic charting experience is a plus. Benefits include travel and housing support through ARMStaffing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, especially in surgical care.
• Active RN license required; NC or Compact license may be accepted if pending.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for surgical patients, including pre and post-operative care.
• Monitor vitals and administer medications as prescribed.
• Utilize IV therapy and telemetry skills.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and hospital protocols.
• Perform EKGs and essential assessments as required.
