Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel RN for Med Surg/Telemetry in Tyler, TX. This 36-bed unit requires night shift coverage with a 12-hour schedule and 36 hours per week. Start date 10/06/2026. Travel role with onboarding and orientation provided.

The RN must hold a valid Texas license or compact, have a minimum of two years’ experience in Med Surg with Telemetry, and be proficient in Epic charting. BLS certification and venous access skills are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of RN experience in Medical Surgical with Telemetry
• Valid state or compact license to practice in Texas
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Knowledge of venous access devices incl. PICC and central lines
• Experience with sedation management and wound care
• Ability to follow rapid response protocols

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric patients on a 36-bed unit
• Manage ports, blood products, and cardiac telemetry
• Maintain patient safety with appropriate monitoring and care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Float rotation may occur to units with similar acuity
