American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN – Telemetry Med Surg for a 13-week assignment in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Start date 12/22/2025, 36 hours per week, nights 7:00 PM–7:00 AM. Requires AL or compact RN license and at least 2 years RN experience including Med/Surg Telemetry.

Qualifications

• Active AL or compact RN license with no restrictions or hits.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required.
• At least 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry.
• No pending or temporary licenses will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital subintensive medical unit (MS/Tele).
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Orientation hours are included at the start of the contract.
• Uses Meditech EMR; prior experience preferred but not required.
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate with no mileage restrictions.
• Competency-based modules are included in virtual orientation.
• ICU and ED nurses are required to take an onsite test and an online pre-test.
• A cardiac exam link will be provided and must be completed within the required timeframe after offer acceptance.
