ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel assignment in Towson, MD. This role covers 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with 36 hours weekly, and requires Med Surg/Telemetry and stroke expertise, plus NIHSS/mRs/SIREN/EKG certs within 48 hours if offered.

The position is travel-based with benefits and onboarding support from ARMStaffing. Candidates must have an active Maryland RN license, BLS, and vaccination proof, plus references from the last year.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience.
• Two years experience working with stroke patients.
• Telemetry patients as needed.
• NIHSS, mRs/SIREN, EKG certs within 48 hours if offered.
• Maryland RN license current.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• COVID vaccination proof.
• 1 supervisory reference from last 6 months and 1 from last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient care needs and progress.
• Plan and implement nursing interventions per best practices.
• Evaluate and adjust care plans based on patient responses.
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure adherence to standards.
• Maintain compliance with policies and documentation standards.
