Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Med Surg/Tele RN for a 13‑week travel assignment in Springfield, Massachusetts. The role features 36 hours per week, nights, and a 12‑hour shift, with a focus on high‑quality patient care in medical‑surgical and telemetry units.

Requirements include one year of Med Surg/Tele RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS certification. Preferred NIHSS and ACLS certifications may be considered for advanced assignments.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg/Telemetry RN experience.
• Current RN license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document changes.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist physicians during treatments.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable environment for patients post‑procedure.
