Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Med Surg / Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Valencia, CA. This night-shift, 12-hour position requires 36 hours per week and starts 10/27/2026, offering travel pay and benefits with a dedicated clinical team. The ideal candidate has at least one year of Med Surg/Tele RN experience, a valid California RN license, and BLS.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families; address concerns.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and document changes; report concerns.
• Prepare patients for diagnostics; assist physicians; monitor responses.
• Maintain safe, comfortable environment for post-procedure patients.
• Document all patient information in the medical record; ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create care plans.
• Manage multiple patients; prioritize based on acuity and needs.
• Ensure infection control practices and PPE usage.
• Facilitate discharge planning and coordinate with families and resources.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
