Job summary

Cross Country Nurses seeks a Travel RN for Med Surg/Telemetry in Olympia, Washington. The RN will float to multiple units within the hospital, providing care to a diverse adult and geriatric population and may take charge on small units as needed.

Applicants must hold a WA or compact license, have at least 1 year of RN experience in MS/Telemetry, and possess ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications; EPIC charting familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• WA state license or compact license required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in Med Surg/Telemetry.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required; EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across MS/Telemetry units.
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Ensure PPE and isolation precautions are followed.
• Collaborate with team, coordinate patient care during float shifts.
• Potentially assume charge nurse duties on small units.
